Since Tome was written with PWA in mind, you can get quick access to your Tome instance like a native app. Here are instructions for each platform:

• Open Safari
• Navigate to your Tome instance (https://your-tome.example.com)
• Tap the Share icon (square with arrow)
• Scroll down
• Tap Add to Home Screen
• Tap Add
• Tome now appears on your home screen

• Open Chrome
• Navigate to your Tome instance (https://your-tome.example.com)
• Tap the ⋮ Menu (top-right)
• Tap Add to Home screen
• Tap Add
• Choose Add automatically or place it manually
• Tome now appears on your home screen

• Works best when Tome is served over HTTPS
• Opens like an app for fast access
• Multiple Tome instances can each have their own shortcut
• If the option doesn’t appear:
  • iPhone → Must use Safari
  • Android → Try refreshing the page
