This educational fork makes Paul DeLeeuw's well-engineered rendering technology accessible through a modern, user-friendly interface designed for students, educators, and researchers.
The Flexible Parameter System (FPS) enables ManpLab to handle 328 diverse fractal types with elegance:
- Uses templates to accommodate the varying parameter requirements of many different fractal types
- Provides a consistent user interface for all those types
-
🔧 Flexibility: Each of the 328 fractals can have its own unique set of parameters
- Newton fractals get polynomial degree controls
- Mandelbrot gets bailout settings
- Strange attractors get system parameters
- And more...
-
🎨 Consistency: Despite these differences, every fractal presents its parameters in the same organized, easy-to-use interface with:
- Categorized parameter groups
- Helpful tooltips and descriptions
- Built-in validation and constraints
- Unified editing experience
