I've published on a method to distinguish social interactions from incidental spatial overlap], the relationship between space use and social network position in vultures, temporal scales of vulture social networks, and animal movement diversity.

I'm currently investigating social foraging information under different resource conditions and the impacts of mortality on individual behavior and social structure.

πΈ I have a B.S. in E&EB (Ecology & Evolutionary Biology) from Yale, where I studied wood frog tadpoles for my undergraduate thesis project (Repository | Paper).
π I'm helping the SPACES Institute set up their workflow and project organization as they study biodiversity using remote sensing data.
π» I'm an instructor and instructor trainer with The Carpentries. My own Carpentries lesson on minimal reproducible examples is currently in the Carpentries Incubator.
π I managed the database and built a Shiny app for a freshwater ecology project with the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies and the Jones Lab at Notre Dame.
π¬ I wrangled linguistics survey data for the Yale Grammatical Diversity Project, making a relational database and an interactive Shiny dashboard (code here).
