AgentLink v0.1.0 — MVP Public Release

This is the first public MVP release of AgentLink.

AgentLink is a local-first platform for connecting agents, runtimes, and tools through a typed control plane with task dispatch, policy enforcement, artifacts, auditability, and operator visibility.

Highlights

• Control plane API and edge node runtime
• Node enrollment, heartbeats, discovery, and runtime inventory
• Task creation, claiming, completion, retry, cancellation, and approvals
• Artifact and audit event support
• Operator web UI for dashboard, tasks, approvals, and audit views
• Policy-aware task handling and release-gated test baseline

MVP scope

This release is intended for:

• local development
• evaluation
• end-to-end testing
• early open-source adoption and feedback

Current limitations

• Operator access currently uses a shared OPERATOR_API_KEY
• Localhost-oriented defaults are included for development and must be replaced for production
• Some hardening, auth depth, and ecosystem breadth are planned for later releases

Please report vulnerabilities through the process described in SECURITY.md, not through public issues.

Notes

This release establishes the public MVP foundation for AgentLink. Future releases will focus on installation simplicity, stronger security, better UX, and expanded integrations.
