Features

  • flexible and modular code base
  • does not affect currently installed systems, whole installation is carried in a separate directory
  • saves bandwidth as an iso is not necessary
  • can be used from any installed distro OR Live image
  • can be used to install distros on any external/internal drive
  • each distro is installed in its separate directory , because of this multiple distros can be installed
    • on same block device ( volume/partition )
    • simultaneously by executing i.sh multiple times
  • supports:
    • LUKS
    • LVM
    • RAID
    • Nested Volumes
    • & combinations of above mentioned

Limitations

  • BTRFS only
  • May NOT be for Absolute Beginners
  • GRUB2 limitations has been inherited
  • Will never be as flexible as manual installation
