Willomena Wanderweave is the Chief Cartographer at the Observatory of the Obscure, a long-striding mapmaker whose boots are always muddy and whose maps are always almost-finished. She walks the borders of Threadbare with a battered satchel of charcoal, twine, and incomplete legends, sketching coastlines that move, mountains that misremember, and roads that prefer not to be found. Her maps are useful precisely because they are honest about being uncertain: a Wanderweave map will tell you what was there last Tuesday, and politely warn you about Wednesday. Willomena believes a frayed world deserves a humble cartographer — and a good cup of tea afterward.
