fathomdb 0.7.2 — RELEASE-HARDENING
Closes the RELEASE-HARDENING campaign. Phase A: doc-drift sweep (PR-1),
embedder concurrency hardening (PR-9), recall-floor reframe (PR-2 — 0.90
holds, the "gap" was a measurement artifact; ANN-fidelity 0.937), tiered
real-corpus latency budget (PR-3), 0.7.0+0.7.1 publish (PR-4). Phase B:
corpus-driven test harness (PR-5), always-on dev-loop perf gates (PR-6),
append-only perf-regression detection (PR-7). Axis W only (embedder-api
held 0.6.0). The post-1.0-foundation cut.

fathomdb 0.7.1 — EMBEDDER-UNDEFER
Default in-process embedder (BAAI/bge-small-en-v1.5, 384d, candle),
opt-in per binding; first-use sha256-verified weight download;
mean-centering before sign-bit quant. Held alongside v0.7.0 until the
0.7.2 recall-floor re-derivation (0.828 artifact -> corrected 0.937,
0.90 floor holds). See CHANGELOG.md.
Tag re-cut onto the publish-tier-order fix (embedder before engine) after
the first publish attempt partial-failed at the engine tier.

fathomdb 0.6.1 GA
Promotion of v0.6.1-rc.1 to GA following V-slice fresh-install
verification GREEN on all three bindings (PyPI / npm / crates.io).
Axis W: 0.6.1 (workspace + python + ts in lockstep).
Axis E: fathomdb-embedder-api held at 0.6.0 per Wake d-001
(no trait-surface change this release).
Scope identical to 0.6.1-rc.1:
- OpenReport accessor surfaced on Python + TypeScript bindings
 (closes 12-TX-OPENREPORT from 0.6.0 GA carry-over).
- Three Dependabot advisories resolved (pyo3, js-yaml).
- AC-012 canonical-runner re-measurement RED; Pack 7 perf work

First release candidate for 0.6.1, the first axis-W-only patch since
the 0.6.0 GA train. Axis-E (fathomdb-embedder-api) held at 0.6.0 per
Wake decision d-001 (no trait-surface change in this release).
Scope closures vs 0.6.0:
- OPENREPORT (py + ts): engine-attached accessor surfacing native
 OpenReport fields (schema_version_before/after, migration_steps,
 embedder_warmup_ms, query_backend, default_embedder).
- DEPENDABOT: dependency-update automation enabled.
- AXIS-E-PIN: set-version.sh honors axis-E hold during axis-W bumps.
Release-engineering hardening this RC cycle:
- cargo-publish-if-new.sh idempotency for the T1-T7 publish path
 (axis-W-only patches; partial-republish retries).
- Dependent-crate dry-run short-circuit (cross-tier workspace-dep
 resolve only succeeds after real publish).
- scripts/release/local-dry-run.sh for developer-box rehearsal.
AC-012 canonical re-measurement (1M-row text query latency) remains
RED on the long-run runner; perf work moves to 0.7.0.
