This might fix #46, although I don't exactly know why.

Was looking at this app as an example Shiny app for Posit Academy and couldn't help but notice some low-hanging fruit that will improve the readability and responsiveness of the app.
I'd also recommend running
renv::upgrade()andrenv::clean()as I suspect there might be some unused packages inrenv.lock
