I'm Shivam - a Site Reliability & Platform Engineer building production-grade infrastructure for Kubernetes at scale.

Currently at Obmondo, operating 50+ production clusters across AWS, Azure, Hetzner, and bare-metal with Cluster API and ArgoCD. I build tools that make infrastructure legible - CLIs, agents, controllers, and kernel-level observability.

Active in the open-source ecosystem:

  • LFX Mentor & Mentee - Linux Foundation
  • GSoC Mentor - OWASP BLT
  • Contributor - CNCF ecosystem

My core focus:

  • Platform Engineering → Kubernetes, Cluster API, GitOps, multi-cloud infra
  • Reliability & Observability → Prometheus, eBPF, SLO/SLI, incident response
  • Systems Programming → Go, Linux internals, low-overhead instrumentation

I care about systems that don't just work - but explain why they break.

Location: Patna, Bihar, India
Education: B.Tech - Computer Science & Cybersecurity, VIT University
Focus: SRE • Platform Engineering • Kubernetes • eBPF • Go
Building: Kerno - eBPF incident diagnosis for Kubernetes

> featured.projects

Kerno · Flagship

eBPF-powered Kubernetes incident diagnosis engine.

Traces kernel signal dimensions - syscall latency, TCP flows, OOM events, disk I/O, scheduler delays, and FD leaks - and ships a deterministic rule engine with optional LLM enrichment. kerno doctor produces a production-grade postmortem in seconds, not hours.

Go · eBPF · Kubernetes · Linux Kernel · DaemonSet

Watchdog · Security Tooling

Cross-platform desktop security scanner for CVE detection and SSL/TLS auditing.

Go + Wails desktop app with CVSS-based vulnerability detection, real-time network monitoring, and LLM-powered remediation reports. Embedded LevelDB for scan history, PDF/JSON export for compliance workflows.
