Hi, I'm Tilen 👋

I am R&D/Software Engineer at Fotona, working on numerical simulations for laser technology, light-tissue interaction, and other fields of physics. Physicist by education, programmer by choice.

A few things I've built

  • ArrheniusCalculator — Python + Qt/QML tool for Arrhenius calculations
  • Fluxel2 — Tauri desktop app (Rust + TypeScript) simulating light transport in tissue via the diffusion approximation; three models, volume rendering, port of Fluxel
  • darkcoverage — Python + Qt tool that grids an image and measures dark/light area coverage per cell against adjustable thresholds
  • sl-ru-keyboard — Russian cyrillic layout for Slovenian keyboard (Linux)
  • Laser resonator simulation using 2D FFT (Julia)
  • 3D Radiofrequency simulation for arbitrary boundary conditions (Julia)
  • CUDA-accelerated magnetic field simulation extended from a MATLAB toolbox (Matlab, C++, Cuda)
