About Nodeblue

Nodeblue is a technology company that operates across three divisions: enterprise software, industrial automation, and applied research. Built by researchers and engineers with backgrounds at Tesla, Amazon, Applied Materials, Universal Studios, and Linde — teams that have shipped production-critical systems where failure isn't an option.

Our engineering culture prioritizes technical depth over breadth, ownership over delegation, and shipping over planning.

Headquarters: St. Petersburg, Florida, USA

Service Area: United States (on-site available nationwide)

Divisions

Enterprise applications and AI systems engineered around how businesses actually operate. Not off-the-shelf platforms — systems built for real workflows.

AI & Automation — AI agents and LLM integrations, AI-powered automation (document processing, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection), chatbots and assistants, and workflow automation.

Enterprise & Operations — Custom enterprise applications, operational dashboards, supply chain and reporting, and field and inspection software.

Data & Integrations — API integrations, data management platforms, ingestion pipelines, and data warehousing.

Controls engineering and industrial automation — designing and deploying control systems in real industrial environments across manufacturing, process, and packaging industries.

Core Services — PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI and SCADA systems, robotics integration, system upgrades and retrofits, commissioning and startup (FAT/SAT), and industrial data and analytics (OEE).

Specialized Capabilities — Motion control, functional safety and compliance (IEC 62443, IEC 61511, SIL), MES and ERP integration (SAP, Ignition), electrical design and panel building, machine vision systems, and industrial network architecture (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).

Industries served: Manufacturing · Food & Beverage · Packaging · Oil & Gas · Water & Wastewater · Automotive · Pharmaceuticals · Energy

Beyond project work, Nodeblue is also building next-generation software tools for controls engineers — modern development environments, intelligent diagnostics, and design tools built for how engineers actually work on the plant floor.

Early-stage applied research with real capital, real assets, and active deployment.

Capital Research — Real estate investment (two active properties), financial modeling, computational quantitative strategies, AI-augmented research tools (deployed and operational), and probabilistic risk intelligence and scenario analysis.

Aerospace & Defense — Guidance and control systems research, autonomous fleet platform development, sensor fusion and real-time adaptive control, and AI-powered simulation and rapid prototyping tools for aerospace R&D.

How We Work

Every engagement follows the same disciplined process regardless of division:

  1. Understand — Map the problem space, operating environment, and constraints before writing a line of code
  2. Architect — Define system boundaries, data flows, and integration points with precision
  3. Build — Engineer the solution with production-grade quality — no throwaway prototypes
  4. Deploy — Ship to real environments and support ongoing operation with full ownership

Values

Technical depth — Dig into the hard layers of a problem until the solution is bulletproof.

Ownership — Every engineer owns their system from first commit to production and beyond.

Pragmatism — Pick the tool that wins, not the one that trends. Boring tech that ships beats shiny tech that doesn't.

Velocity — Ship it, learn from it, make it better. Repeat.
