I like building complete systems: drawing the schematic, laying out and assembling the PCB, writing the firmware, and measuring the result on the bench. Along the way, I also work with FPGA/Linux systems, TinyML, computer vision, and computer architecture.
- Building PEAK , a self-powered TinyML sensor node and my main research project at METAL Lab. I am developing the hardware, firmware, and on-device inference myself.
- Serving as President of GeekPie Association and leading its embedded hardware projects and activities.
- Independently developing a wildlife-protection project in collaboration with Prof. Fei Fang at Carnegie Mellon University and WWF.
- MIKU LA32R Out-of-Order SoC is a four-issue SpinalHDL processor and FPGA/Linux system. I was captain of the GeekPie_ team and worked on the CPU, FPGA integration, and Linux bring-up. CPU development · Linux kernel
- TI Cup Ball-Balancing Vehicle combines K230 vision, STM32F407 control, and a custom mechanical system. I was team captain and worked on the vision and mechanical integration.
- SparkLive is a local multimodal livestream project for NVIDIA DGX Spark. I captained the team and contributed to system integration and local deployment. Digital-human workspace
I am a co-first author of Energy Management Design Guide for Self-powered Ambient IoT Devices, which received the Best Paper Award at IEEE ICPS 2026.
