As a longtime radio enthusiast and broadcast engineer for several local stations in France, I design and develop open-source tools related to radio broadcasting (with the help of AI). My projects are dedicated to small radio stations, DXers, and anyone who shares a passion for radio.
My main areas of interest include terrestrial broadcasting (FM and DAB+), audio transport (encoding and decoding), and RDS (Radio Data System) technology.
- RDSExpert
An advanced RDS/RBDS decoder for FM-DX webservers which offers many features, decoding of various RDS data and bandscans export in PDF/TXT format.
- RDSExpert Plugin for FM-DX Webservers
RDSExpert integration plugin for FM-DX webservers: An advanced RDS/RBDS decoder which offers many features, decoding of various RDS data and bandscans export in PDF/TXT format.
- AutoLock Plugin for FM-DX Webservers
A plugin to lock the tuning of an FM-DX webserver using a URL argument, with automatic unlocking upon user logout.
- WestBroadcast Encoder
A multi-output IP audio encoder, mainly dedicated to radio stations, for streaming to Icecast servers, via RTP and through a built-in server. Includes an email alerts sending option.
- WestBroadcast Streamer
An IP audio decoder with backup sources, remotely controllable via a web interface. Ideal for small radio stations, in-store sound systems, or anyone interested in radio broadcasting.
- TII Logs Analyzer for AbracaDABra
A TII logs file analyzer for AbracaDABra, performing a bandscan synthesis with detailed information and a reception map. This tool can also be used to visualize measurements taken while on the move (in a car for example) to analyze the transmitters received along a route, as well as the reception strength of the multiplex, and much more.
- ODR-DabMux Generator
An HTML generator with integrated CUs calculator to easily create the configuration file of an ODR DAB+ multiplex with all settings, including the services list. It creates a customized configuration file (in either .info or .mux format) which can then run with the tools of Opendigitalradio.
