@pnemonic78 , This was removed intentionally. Calculating chatzos as half a day is really not something that should be done once astronomical chatzos is available. Secondly, this time will be within a fraction of a second of getChatzosHayomAsHalfDay() since the day according to this understanding of the Baal Hatanya is extended the same length at both ends.
