AutoDI outputs a lot of diagnostic information on build. If you are not seeing this in the Output window try turning up the MSBuild output verbosity. I find setting the output level to Detailed to be sufficient.
In the output window search for "AutoDITarget:" to find the start of the AutoDI.Build target.
Unless you have set the DebugLogLevel to None, you can also search for "AutoDI: Starting AutoDI on" to find the start of the AutoDI output.
