VisualizingTheInvisible

A demo of tracking textured 3D objects, based on the presentation and workshop "Visualizing the Invisible" at PyImageConf 2018. For a conceptual overview, along with sample images of input and output, you may want to download the presentation slides from the author's website.

Dependencies

The code has been tested with the following dependencies:

  • Python 2.7 or 3.5
  • NumPy 1.14 or 1.15
  • OpenCV 3.3 or 3.4
  • WxPython 3.0
  • Spinnaker SDK 1.15 and PySpin 1.11 — optional, to support many FLIR / Point Grey industrial cameras

Other versions may also work but have not been tested.
