| Windows only | Word/Excel/PowerPoint COM automation, registry-based dark mode detection, and PyInstaller packaging are all Windows-first. macOS / Linux are not currently supported (will come later). |
| Build size | ~435 MB compiled, inherent to Python + PySide6 + Matplotlib + pdf2docx and other libraries. |
| PDF → DOCX quality | Depends on the source PDF. Scanned PDFs with no embedded text layer are only partially recoverable without an OCR tool. |
.ppt legacy format |
Requires Microsoft Office or LibreOffice. python-pptx cannot open old binary .ppt files natively. |
| Donation Thank-You | The thank-you dialog requires a relaunch after donating. If the app is never relaunched, the flag remains pending. |
| No cloud / sync | History, settings, and achievements are stored locally only, no backup, no multi-device profiles. |
