We build data-driven web properties for the UK: provenance-tracked local business directories, reference and guide sites, and the platform and monitoring tooling that operates them.
- Local business directories — compiled from public registers (Companies House, the ICO register, council rating lists), with every fact carrying its source, and published only when it clears explainable quality thresholds. Makers Map (Southampton creative businesses) and Wessex Tech (BCP-area technology firms) are built this way.
- Reference and guide sites — independent, factual sites on subjects from UK hill data to degree apprenticeships, each naming its sources.
- Open engineering documentation — how the platform works, at data-torturing-solutions.github.io.
Every listing page explains where its information came from. From any of our directory sites you can claim your listing, correct it, or have it removed — the Your data link in the footer is self-service, and removal is honoured permanently. We are registered with the ICO (registration ZC218139) and every site publishes a full privacy notice naming the controller.
Questions, corrections and partnership enquiries: use the contact address in the footer of the relevant site — each property has a monitored mailbox.
