👨🏽‍💻 Software Developer

Hi! I’m Amiel, an inspiring Software Developer passionate about full-stack application development. I’m proficient in building backend services with ASP.NET and C#, and frontend UIs with Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript. I’ve also previously worked with React. I enjoy working on either stack or both. I’m also knowledgeable in C++, the current language I’m using for performance-critical software.

I am currently attending Chico CSU to obtain a Masters in Computer Science. My previous courses have been Network Forensics and Advance Object-Oriented Programming with C++. My current course is Web Applications with Django and React. My overall graduate program consisted of projects with C++ and Python.

I recently discovered that I love C++. I built an interactive Text User Interface application with C++ that optimizes a C++ structure size based on its property members. I plan to add features like reading files and visualizing memory layout. I enjoy working with C++ for high-performance software. ASP.NET is my choice for APIs due to its accessible libraries and platform for web application development.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring restaurants, coffee shops, and try recipes from America's Test Kitchen to cook. I also enjoy reading books.
