v2.4.0

11 Jun 21:27
@github-actions github-actions

Choose a tag to compare

Release focused on reliability for real team work: fewer stuck teammate launches, safer OpenCode message delivery, fresher task data, and cleaner Codex/OpenCode startup behavior.

Most Important Fixes

  • Team members start more reliably in headless runtime mode. If MCP config discovery stalls, startup can continue with the explicit MCP config instead of waiting forever.
  • OpenCode messages sent to the same member lane are now serialized. This prevents overlapping sends from racing each other and blocking later deliveries.
  • OpenCode deliveries that were accepted but had no runtime prompt proof are recovered and retried instead of being left stuck.
  • Global Tasks now update when a selected or cached team refreshes. Task status, comments, and metadata should no longer look stale until a separate global refresh runs.
  • Runtime and provider auth now handle Claude settings environment values correctly.
  • Codex model checks now use the native Codex exec path where appropriate, avoiding launch-only config leaking into model, auth, and runtime status commands.
  • Codex app-server runs now avoid user config.toml while still preserving auth and account files, reducing config-related startup failures.
  • OpenCode profile setup is more resilient when multiple preparations race around node_modules symlinks.

Added And Improved

  • Copy reusable team configurations from existing team setups.
  • Agent Graph now has space effects controls and owner column backdrops for clearer team visualization.
  • Codex custom provider profiles are supported more consistently.
  • Opus 4.8 is available in the model catalog and runtime profile.
  • OpenCode worktree root lanes and runtime-backed OpenCode lead sessions are supported.
  • Team runtime status now shows more launch-stage and liveness detail.

OpenCode status, team launch recovery, Recent Projects, and workspace switching get the main fixes. Models stay visible during slow checks, confirmed team starts stop looking failed, large history scans are bounded, and old workspace data is cleared when switching context.

Improvements

  • improve: OpenCode model lists stay visible when provider status is still loading or times out.
  • improve: Dashboard and provider settings mark OpenCode as available when models are detected.
  • improve: Team launches avoid slow full catalog checks during provider preflight.
  • improve: Recent Projects scans large Codex histories in bounded batches and skips huge cache files.
  • improve: Project and SSH switches clear stale team, project, repository, and Recent Projects data.
  • improve: Team logs, search, and subagent attribution hide internal protocol messages.

Bug Fixes

  • fix: Confirmed team starts no longer stay stuck as "provisioned but not alive" failures.
  • fix: Member cards, launch summaries, graph popovers, and diagnostics show the confirmed startup state consistently.
  • fix: Windows provider checks finish cleanly and no longer add extra output that breaks app parsing.
  • fix: Mixed-provider settings are preserved when restarting teammates.
  • fix: OpenCode permission prompts appear during team launch instead of becoming a generic failure.
  • fix: Provider settings open on Providers by default instead of jumping to Models.
  • fix: Duplicate strict mode terminal windows are prevented.
  • fix: Inline mentions, slash commands, links, and task references are more stable while editing.

  • feat: Support revising sent team messages with clearer revision safeguards.
  • feat: Open persisted task attachments directly in the editor.

Improvements

  • improve: Keep team launch status in a finishing state when runtime evidence shows a teammate is not actually alive yet.
  • improve: Recover the renderer after failed dynamic imports so users are less likely to stay stuck on stale chunks after an update.
  • improve: Reduce startup work by deferring heavy provider and CLI version checks.
  • improve: Gate Codex runtime install prompts on confirmed installer status to avoid premature install actions.
  • improve: Canonicalize git worktree trust roots for more reliable workspace trust checks.
  • improve: Make sidebar task date and review labels use shared translated labels.
  • improve: Keep provider status labels readable in narrow runtime panels.

Bug Fixes

  • fix: Support Claude GIF and WebP image attachment delivery while keeping unsupported MIME types blocked for other runtimes.
  • fix: Preserve attachment delivery errors when the lead process is still alive instead of incorrectly reporting the team as unavailable.
  • fix: Preserve known task change status when a refresh only returns unknown state.
  • fix: Persist incomplete launch state before cleanup so failed teammate bootstrap evidence remains visible after launch exits.
  • fix: Restore member process log source access.
  • fix: Show launch dialog loading fallback while team data is still loading.
  • fix: Harden OpenCode local runtime bridge support and recover empty or no-output bridge sends.
  • fix: Avoid materializing large pre-existing JSONL files when establishing watcher baselines.
  • fix: Harden Radix React 19 ref-cleanup patches and guard packaged renderer bundles.
