why removing fastjar from gcc sources? we need a 100% free java sdk

Yes, I agree. Both of these things would be nice.
Unfortunately fastjar hasn't made it to the top of my priority list
recently. However, I'm willing to give savannah cvs access to anybody
interested in doing #1. For #2, someone could submit a GCC
documentation patch, though I suppose it would be best to have
completed #1 first.
