why removing fastjar from gcc sources? we need a 100% free java sdk

I would suggest doing two things:
1) making an official release of (an updated version) of fastjar
[It is important to make clear to users and distribution-makers
that this software is still mantained. It is important that gcc
building does not depend on unmantained software]
2) recomend the use of fastjar in the gcc building instructions [1] and
other relevant documentation (as a free alternative to Sun's jar)
[1] /gcc/doc/install.texi when it says:
"@item jar
Necessary to build libgcj, the GCJ runtime."
Also I think that this change shuld be documented in the gcc
release notes.
An alternative would be to include with gcc, its own version
of the command line utility jar based on the GNU Classpath
jar implementation.
