gcj win32 frustration

Just for the record, I have compiled gdb 6.2 on win32, and it returns
the same unhelpful backtraces. But the app runs fine under gdb (when
'conitinuing' or not stopping on SIGTRAPS), but NPEs due to the
ACCESS_VIOLATION when not under gdb (this still doesn't make sense to
me).
GNU gdb 6.2

I have also made a simple class (that still needs SWT) which puts the
Browser widget in a StackLayout which produces the NPE. Anyone else
using gcj on win32 that might know what is going on?
