gcj win32 frustration

Hi,
I do have addr2line and c++filt in my path. I have installed
mingw-utils from mingw.org and it doesn't seem to make a difference.
The stack is printed on the dos console, not in any popup box.
I compile on cygwin, and therefore my dir is e:\cygwin\datal, but
under cygwin it looks like e:\datal I suppose. I have copied all of
e:\cygwin\datal to e:\datal and it makes no difference to the
stacktrace.
I use the gdb snapshot from mingw.org. Maybe they aren't very up to
date with gdb builds. I'll try to build cvs sometime but I don't know
how smooth the build is on win32.
I really believe the NPE stacktrace will be useless -- I used to
see similar libgcc2.c related stack traces with completely unrelated
crashes (SWT unable to load an image would yield a similar useless
trace).
So, I think I'm still stuck.
