CDT - an application to test GCJ on?

Here is an application to test GCJ on:
Eclipse has a subproject, CDT, which is a C development
environment.
It contains a GDB GUI frontend as well as other goodies.
Its pretty neat, even at this fairly early stage of
its development.
I think it would be neat to have the CDT GDB frontend as
a standalone application, basically a replacement for Insight.
I've been using CDT for my everyday embedded work(eCos),
and I'm not looking for alternatives anytime soon.
