Could you describe the actual technology?
The last time I looked, the kaffe JIT was fairly primitive. Even the
new `jit3' I looked at recently also seemed pretty simple.
If you look at the performance page I posted, you'll see there is a
huge difference between the best JITs (IBM, HotSpot, ORP) and kaffe.
This is one of the reasons I'm not very interested in trying to
integrate kaffe.
If things have changed, I'd like to know about it. It's possible,
even likely, that I misunderstood the code I was looking at.
