backend for
GCC' and quite old. The text references 'egcs' and says it's quite
experimental.
Given that the C and C++ standards were quite deliberately written to
include
segmented architectures like 16-bit DOS, it's quite probable that a
C-to-JVM
mapping could be built that adhered to the 'legal' requirements. It
would, however,
quite probably not be of much practical use.
