Fwd: Status of gcj/java on PPC Linux?

Hi,
I have written that "same" piece of code many times (openoffice bridges, jdk sysinvokenative, kaffe, etc). 
I would be happy to help.
Please point me at the required pieces to grab via cvs and any test code and I would be happy to write that for you. 
Under kaffe I tried libffi under ppc and could never get ti to work completely so I wrote their invoke native routine to replace the libffi interface. My guess it was just bitrot since Geoff Keating once had it working (and wrote the libffi for ppc) I think.
