What is Games Done Quick?

Games Done Quick is a series of charity video game marathons. These events feature high-level gameplay by speedrunners raising money for charity. Games Done Quick has teamed up with several charities in its nine-year history, including Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. We are currently the largest fundraising event globally for both charities!

To date, Games Done Quick has raised over 50 million dollars for charity. We also average over 3000 people in attendance at our events, including staff, volunteers, runners, and attendees just looking to have fun and support the event!

Frame Fatales is a community of women and femmes who are interested in speedrunning, charity events, and gaming. It is a space for you if you identify as femme or a woman in any way that is meaningful to you. Cis, trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals are all welcome to join! The community Discord has activities year-round, including Game of the Month and randomizer events. Learn more here!

Black in a Flash is a community for Black speedrunners of all levels to convene, grow, work together, and uplift each other in their speedrunning journey while raising money for charity! Follow us on Bluesky at blackinaflash.bsky.social.

GDQ is going to gamescom!

GDQ is going overseas to gamescom 2026, in Cologne, Germany!

gamescom GDQ will feature three days of speedrunning, from August 28th-30th with programming beginning daily at 10 a.m. CEST (4 a.m ET/ 1 a.m. PT) and running until approximately 8 p.m. CEST (2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT).

Run submissions are open Monday May 4th-17th.

Black in a Flash’s Juneteenth Class of 2026 put on a stellar performance. Congratulations to all of our honorees and we wish you Black Joy in your endeavors as you spread your wings throughout the community. We want to again thank The Yetee, Dragon Roast Coffee, Kitten Cup Games, and Iddy Biddy games for the favors and refreshments of the event.

Frost Fatales 2026 Signs Off!

Frost Fatales 2026 concluded with a total of 147,647ドル raised so far for the National Women's Law Center! Thank you to all who participated and watched the event, especially all those working at the Studio. You can watch all of the speedruns at the Flame Fatales 2025 playlist on our YouTube!
