    I have a system running an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X on a MSI B450M MORTAR MAX AM4 Micro-ATX mobo

Currently I have the following RAM 32GB DDR4 (2x16G) G.Skill 3200Mhz Ripjaws V RAM PN F4-3200C16D-32GVK. (Unfortunately teh GSkill site doesn;t have any physical size specs on the memory).

I still have 2 spare slots but with the low profile Noctua cooler there is simply no clearance for another 2 sticks of the same RAM.

Is there any lower profile 3200MHz RAM that I could use? Aesthetics are not a consideration I really couldn't give a toss about that :)

For more details on the build (if needed) see the smallest mATX build link in my signature.

    Advice welcome. Cheers.

If you're not in any particular rush email g.skill for the size specs of the ram.

I share your pain with ram fit though, even with my AIO I can only just barely fit two extra sticks of ram.

see above. I found its a gnats dick less than 1cm shorter, just wonder if that'll be enough.

Buy and find out :p Other option is sell the ram and just buy 2x32 sticks.

What about removing the heatsinks? Get a hairdryer over it for a few minutes then use a plastic card/shim or even just use your hands, the heatsink is only lightly attached with some adhesive tape and will split into two halves.

Regular ram is 31mm without a heatspreader.

The G.Skill Aegis series I think is just normal height with a heatspreader on the side so something like the F4-3200C16D-32GIS that should be able to fit four sticks in.

Unfortunately never came across it, by sheer coincidence.

The more high performance PCs I've built in these cases, with tall RAM (like my ridiculous Corsair Dominator Platinum sticks) have used AIO coolers where the CPU block/pump fits within the footprint of the Intel HSF spec and doesn't protrude over the RAM slots.

The lower performance ones, with some Noctua coolers I've had to use this sort of "VLP" stuff which is basically the same height as the RAM slot itself

Thanks -I can't find any information regarding the dimensions of these particular sticks. (G.Skill Aegis series)
You say 'nornmal' height but I'm not sure what that is :)

Aegis height is as per the DDR4 specification of 31.25m.
    https://www.gskill.com/faq

The height of the memory modules are listed as follows:

    DDR4 Memory Series
    Fortis: 31.2 mm (1.2in)
    Aegis DDR4: 31.2 mm (1.2in)

    Flare X: 40mm (1.58in)
    Ripjaws 4: 40mm (1.58in)
    Ripjaws V: 42mm (1.65in)
    Sniper X: 43mm (1.69in)
    Trident Z: 44mm (1.73in)
    Trident Z Neo: 44mm (1.73in)
    Trident Z RGB: 44mm (1.73in)
    Trident Z Royal: 44mm (1.73in)
    Trident Z Royal Elite: 44mm (1.73in)
    Trident Z RGB DC: 59mm (2.32in)

Everything from Flare X down has a heatspreader which adds height. Aegis' 'heatspreader' is just a sticker basically, and doesn't go above the ram like the two part heatspreaders on all the other types of ram.

    Thank you :)
Is that list available somewhere else or did you put it together yourself?
Great resource, Took me ages to find that sort of data.
