Oh, look, we did it again, again Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Samantha Fulnecky essay controversy
[edit ]I'm just going to keep posting these as I see them unless someone wants to propose a sub-page to catalogue the week-of deletion nominations. Jclemens (talk) 07:10, 5 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
- No reason not to delete these things until they pan out and prove to be more than the outrage of the week. Mangoe (talk) 12:52, 5 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
@Extraordinary Writ I made a different pass from you to make this guideline properly recognize merge discussions at AfD. Pinging you for any comment. —Alalch E. 18:05, 6 April 2026 (UTC) Reply
- I don't really think the RfC was designed to make merging categorically different from redirecting or draftifying or any of the other ATDs (none of which are spelled out separately), but maybe that's more of an issue with the new language at WP:AFD than with the changes you just made. - I see it like this: The RfC did not change what merging is; it only changed one part of the "how" (the part when it is done by consensus in a formal process), not the "what". —Alalch E. 18:36, 6 April 2026 (UTC) Reply
