The Graphics Lab is a project to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. Requests for image improvements can be added to the workshop pages: Illustrations, Photographs and Maps. This specific page is the main, central discussion page for the entire graphics lab. Any comments or questions about the lab may be made here. Note that requests for image improvement, etc. do not belong here but should go on one of the main requests pages

GIF rendering speed sample
[edit ]File:Map Hudson County New Jersey municipalities.gif was created by a now-banned user for file size and speed tests in comparison with File:Hudson County, New Jersey Municipalities.png. There is a comparison report from 2007. Is there any possible further use for this file? I don't see anyone but the creator showing interested in GIF vs. PNG rendering speed and am tempted to propose deletion. However, I thought it might be worth an update on the speed tests, and I lack the technical knowledge to test that properly. Daask (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
Image map for three pillars of sustainability
[edit ]There's a broken image map at Template:Three pillars of sustainability from Environmental economics § Relationship to other fields using File:Sustainable development.svg. Perhaps the image was broken when the SVG was resized in 2019. Could someone fix the polygons for the clickable areas to match the image?
