Template | Example | Information | ||||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
{{Infobox game }} |
|
Infobox game should be used in all game articles where the infobox will ADD to the quality of the article. Do NOT add an infobox to an article simply for the sake of it. The infobox image used should be relevant to the game. Avoid images that include people unless absolutely needed. Make sure that the image used comply with the Wikipedia image use policy. | ||||||||||||||||
{{vgrelease }} | Used for release dates, which creates superscript abbreviations. Other country codes are listed here. | |||||||||||||||||
{{vgy }} | For dates in video-game related articles where the day-of-year is not known, the year should be linked to "YYYY in video gaming". The template creates this wikilink easily: {{vgy|2007}} will automatically produce the year and create a link to the appropriate article. |
