Some Canadian WikiProjects fall inactive or semi-active because they have a lack of interested editors or they simply have served their initial purpose of establishing an organizational structure, content assessment system, layout and navigational aids. These projects are retained for reference because they contain topic-specific considerations of the many site-wide policies and guidelines that apply to a subset of Canadian articles. This page is written in Canadian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, centre, travelled, realize, analyze) and some terms may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
Awards can be given by any user to any other user who you think is worthy.

The Silver Maple Leaf Award Awarded for completion of a major initiative or standardizing a series of Canada-related articles.
The Gold Maple Leaf Award Awarded to editors who have put in months or years of hard work into all aspects of Canada-related articles
The Canadian Content Award
The Canadian Content Award An exclusive award given for outstanding contributions to Canadian-related pages in someone's first decade.
National Merit
The Canada Barnstar of National Merit A very exclusive award given for outstanding contributions to mass addition of Canadian content over a decade.
