This page in a nutshell: For 7 days, starting December 6, 2009, Wikipedians are asked to voluntarily tag images that either aren't tagged, or could have a better licensing tag on them for the United States Government
The United States Government Image Categorizing Week will take place from December 6, 2009 until December 12. Similar to the Great American Smokeout, editors are asked to engage in a seven-day period of tagging photos of United States Government images correctly, so that they would be in correct categories.
This is the category in question: Category:United States government images
- Q:It seems that there is a difference between the Wikipedia images needing better categories, and the WikiMedia Commons images needing better categories. How do we deal with this?
- A:We will focus here first so that we can knock this down to a respectable size. If successful, we will move this to Commons.
