WEFA-LP is a low-power FM radio station licensed to serve Ocala, Florida. The station broadcasts on 92.5 MHz and is owned by Marion Community Services, Assoc.[2] WEFA-LP is branded as Easy Favorites 92.5 and airs a soft adult contemporary music format.[3] [4]

WEFA-LP identifies itself as Easy Favorites 92.5.[3] Radio directories describe the station's programming as easy listening, pop hits, classic rock, and R&B hits.[5] [4] The station's website describes its community role as promoting local nonprofit groups and organizations, along with public-service efforts such as food, donations, aid for single mothers, and other community services in the Ocala and Marion County area.[6]

The station's website lists specialty programming including Sunday Swing with Gene Martin on Sundays at noon and That Thing with Rich Appel on Sunday nights.[7] [8]

Marion Community Services, Assoc. applied for a new low-power FM construction permit during the FCC's 2013 LPFM filing window. The application, filed as BNPL-20131113BUS, proposed a new station on 92.5 MHz in Ocala.[9] [10]

The FCC granted the station's original construction permit on February 11, 2014. The WEFA-LP call sign was assigned on February 18, 2014.[10] [2] The station received its license to cover on September 8, 2014, authorizing WEFA-LP to operate as a licensed low-power FM station.[10]

In 2019, the FCC accepted a voluntary transfer-of-control application for WEFA-LP from the station's old board of directors to a new board of directors.[11] The transfer-of-control application was granted on November 7, 2019.[10] The station's license renewal application was granted on January 15, 2020, with the license expiring February 1, 2028.[10] [2]

WEFA-LP operates on 92.5 MHz as an FCC-licensed LP100 low-power FM station. Its licensed effective radiated power is 60 watts, with an antenna height above average terrain of 39.1 m (128 ft). The station transmits from coordinates 29°11′33.2′′N 82°04′25.8′′W / 29.192556°N 82.073833°W / 29.192556; -82.073833 , using an omnidirectional antenna.[2]
