- Hello Sophisticatedevening,
- Thank you for your message. I have rewritten the article completely in my own words to address the copyright issue.
- I have also adjusted my citations to ensure accuracy. The article now uses five sources that are all relevant to the Igbo topic, including Amadiume (1987), which is the foundational academic work on Igbo female husbands.
- Could you please review the revised version and let me know if any further changes are needed?
- Thank you for your help and for maintaining Wikipedia's standards.

A tag has been placed on Matthew Blaise requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew Blaise. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator , or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
EaglesFan37 (talk) 15:37, 4 June 2026 (UTC) Reply
- The previous deletion of Matthew Blaise occurred because the article relied on unreliable sources (Bloomberg, TIME links that did not work). This version has been completely rewritten with new, verifiable, reliable sources:
- - BRICKS Magazine (independent publication)
- - One Young World (official profile)
- - We Are Family Foundation (official selection)
- - Mail & Guardian (major South African newspaper)
- - TIME Magazine (working link)
- - Oxford University (TORCH) (official event page)
- The article now meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines (WP:GNG) with significant coverage in multiple independent, reliable sources. This is not a repost of the deleted version. It is a new article with substantially improved sourcing.
- Please reconsider the G4 speedy deletion. YosefKT (talk) 17:25, 4 June 2026 (UTC) Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Linda Ngcobo, a link pointing to the disambiguation page South African was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thanks for your contributions to Don Abram. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:13, 15 June 2026 (UTC) Reply

Information icon Hello, YosefKT, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in draft space, such as Draft:Don Abram are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.
You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here.
As the page has had to be pulled out of categories twice in 20 minutes, do not readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. Hello! Two quick notes:
- In this edit where you added a source and a quote, it seems you also accidentally included the quote in the article's text. It's important that quotes are properly marked as quotes, otherwise it could be a copyright violation
- In this edit, the same thing happened, but in this case the source is actually just an improperly noted copy of the Wikipedia article. It's important to avoid circular citations, so I've removed this one altogether
Let me know if you have questions :) Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 01:21, 31 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Thank you for the notes. I will fix the quote formatting. YosefKT (talk) 01:39, 31 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
Welcome, welcome, welcome YosefKT! I'm glad that you are joining the August 2026 drive! Please, have a cup of WikiTea, and go cite some articles.
The 2026 Developing Countries WikiContest has been running for a month now, so let's check in with the competition so far!
As of the time of writing, our top contestants are:
- Nigeria Vanderwaalforces (submissions) ahead of the pack with 715 points, with two FAs and many GAs on the monarchs of the Kingdom of Benin;
- Simongraham (submissions) with 291 points, mostly with GAs on jumping spiders, alongside various GAN and FAC reviews;
- Jaguarnik (submissions) with 240 points, mostly from an FA on the 1945 film Ivan the Terrible;
- Grnrchst (submissions) with 215 points, mostly from GAs on anarchist history in various countries, alongside many GA reviews, and;
- Vestrian24Bio (submissions) tied for 4th with 215 points, with an FL and four GAs on Indian cricket!
These competitors are in the lead, but if past experience is any indication, big shake-ups might still await us in the contest. If you're looking for a way to boost your position, we got a table of review requests from fellow participants—you can rack up a lot of points through reviews, and it might just convince others to review your own nominations! You can also look through the eligible reviews page to find other articles to review, with highlights for articles eligible for the ×ばつ multiplier. The coordinators would like to thank Jaguarnik (submissions) for his work to keep this page up to date.
Thank you so much for all your work in the contest so far, dear participants, and keep on the good fight against systemic bias on our wiki! Have any questions? Leave a message on the contest talk page or send it to one of our wonderful coordinators: Arconning (talk ·contribs ), Generalissima (talk ·contribs ), MagenticManifestations (talk ·contribs ), sawyer777 (talk ·contribs ), and TechnoSquirrel69 (talk ·contribs ). Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For an unblock to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
