I figured it was better to leave you a message directly on your talk page about my DYK nom here and the concerns you voiced on the sourcing. I saw that you had mentioned these concerned on the reviewer's page as well , so a talk page message made more sense to me to discuss things in greater detail.

• Huyada is the official publication of the Assyrian National Federation (Assyriska Riksförbundet) of Sweden . They have been running for nearly 50 years, and have been an online-exclusive publication since 2009. When we're talking about the pieces on Dolabani specifically, we can see that they were authored by a journalist, Augin Kurt Haninke, whose work with Huyada and in the Swedish-Assyrian diaspora has been mentioned in academic discourse over the years, including with his own book being cited in journal publications . For the sake of this article, these sources can be considered reliable.
• Assyria Post is a more recently established publication, so there's still room for doubt regarding its reliability. However, you mentioned an RSN discussion about the Post which was held in November . I attempted to bring back discussion surrounding the source in March , but it never received any replies.
  • To make a long story short, the website has developed a greater level of transparency since its launch. Some aspects of the site are kept anonymous due to the nature of political journalism in the Assyrian community, and are attributed to just the site itself. Furthermore, the original discussion was brought to RSN by the confirmed/suspected meatpuppet of a topic-banned user . This is an entire rabbit-hole of its own to unpack, but I suspected that the website was brought to RSN only because its use of "Assyrian," (see WP:GS/ACAS for more info), and not because of actual reliability issues.
  • As far as Dolabani's article goes, AssyriaPost is writing specifically about Camp Dolabani, an older youth camp which is hosted by the German organization Assyrischer Jugendverband Mitteleuropa e.V. (AJM) , a fact which is mentioned in another Assyrian publication and by the group themselves . Given this circumstance, a basic statement of fact can be attributed to the Post for the sake of this article.

Thanks for the context, PresentlySuraye3, and apologies for my delay! Your explanation about Huyada sounds good; I'm willing to accept the source's reliability as written by a subject-matter expert. I'm still a little on the fence about the Post — leaving aside the concerns about ban evasion, I think there are substantial arguments to be made against reliability. Without some indication that the publication has a "reputation for fact-checking and accuracy", such as having an editorial board of professionals, I wouldn't assume the source is acceptable. Hello, TechnoSquirrel69,

One thing you must know if you restore deleted articles is that you can't just undelete them. For AFD or PRODs, you need to remove all of the deletion tags. For CSD-related deletions, you need to take off the CSD tags. And for draft or user pages that were deleted due to CSD G13, you MUST make a minor edit to the page. You apparently restored this draft but it will show up to admins as eligible for speedy deletion because there still hasn't been an edit made to the page in 6 months. Hi Liz! Squirrels must stick together indeed, especially when migrating cross-country. I was aware that the G13 timer needed resetting, so I added some sources a few minutes after undeleting. I missed your question at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/New page reviewer til after it had been archived. My original question was loaded with the hint that the request was defective, inviting the user to pay attention to the detail, and giving the user an opportunity to fix their request. Passing up the opportunity to fix it with a "Nothing wrong here" message was (in my opinion) an own goal.

I have no objection to the user making a fresh request. Nor any objection to a grant of another trial period (the 6 month gap since the last trial period puts us back to treating it as a new request rather than a renewal, imo). I always strive to ensure that my articles are supported by reliable sources and comply with Wikipedia's core content policies, including verifiability, neutrality, and notability. Since my future contributions will largely consist of new article creation, having the autopatrolled right would help reduce the workload for the New Page Patrol by automatically marking my own new pages as patrolled.
