Reverting of the .pyc message on the Python Article
[edit ]So I would like say, there are 2 articles that are the same name, and I would like to ask, why did you delete the message!? Now that one article can't be reached easily. Also what the heck does afaik mean!?Robloxguest3 (talk) 00:07, 18 August 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- @Robloxguest3, afaik is As Far As I Know.
- Looking again, apologies I hadn't realized the TLD article seems to be using one of using unicode cyrillic characters that look identical to Latin? So .pyc and .рус are different pages. I'll have to look at how we normally handle that when I'm back at a computer; but I still think it's unlikely we'll want a WP:Hatnote for that TLD at the language article. More likely redirect both .pycs to the PYC disambiguation page and disambiguate them. That may take discussion, perhaps. Skynxnex (talk) 00:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- okay thanks! I am working to get the name of the TLD article changed to .pyc (Internet TLD) to stop confusion. Again thanks for the suggestion! Robloxguest3 (talk) 00:35, 18 August 2024 (UTC) [reply ]

what'd I screw up?
[edit ]Hey, Skynxnex! What should I have done that you fixed? I realized after I'd AfD'd it that it really could simply be redirected. Valereee (talk) 18:50, 22 November 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- Hey @Valereee, Twinkle added the AFD nom you created to the daily listing page automatically in rev Special:Diff/1258977759 as a transclusion. But once you deleted the nom page it shows up as a red link to that page. So since there was nothing left to transclude I removed it. It's not uncommon to clean up the AFD daily pages for various reasons :). Skynxnex (talk) 18:53, 22 November 2024 (UTC) [reply ]

hi
[edit ]My edit in 26 February search is correct, Please accept this Imran2662 (talk) 11:16, 10 December 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- Hey @Imran2662, it may be that day is the birthday of a person named that. However, on pages such as that we require that all list entries also already have Wikipedia pages. Also the reference you provided is for an unrelated NFL player. Skynxnex (talk) 15:10, 10 December 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
