Your submission at Articles for creation: Health Informatics in Saudi Arabia (January 3)
[edit ]Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Wikipedia guidelines prohibit the use of LLMs to write articles from scratch. In addition, LLM-generated articles usually have multiple quality issues, to include:
The comment the reviewer left was:
- Promotional tone, editorializing and other words to watch
- Vague, generic, and speculative statements extrapolated from similar subjects
- Essay-like writing
- Hallucinations (plausible-sounding, but false information) and non-existent references
- Close paraphrasing
A lot of the sources cited here were retrieved in August 2025, but this draft was made today. Something's fishy...
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

- Hi, Thank you for reviewing the article. Yes, I initially worked on it around August, then paused, resumed briefly in November, and paused again. I wasn’t planning to upload it until it was fully completed; however, I was advised to upload it and continue adding to it gradually rather than keeping it offline. - @Seigani1: If this is the case, then that would explain the discrepancy with the dates. As such, I apologise for declining it, we've just been getting a lot of AI slop as of late, and those programs tend to mess up sources. You can get back to work on it now, I'll assume in good faith that you're being honest here. S.G. (They/Them) (Talk) (Edits) 16:53, 3 January 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
- No worries, Thank you for understanding.
- To be honest, I’m new to Wikipedia and still getting familiar with its standards and processes. I started working on this article because I couldn’t find comprehensive information on the topic elsewhere online, and I also noticed that AI tools tend to provide inaccurate or inconsistent information about it. Because of that, I tried to compile reliable sources myself. Someone later suggested that I upload it to Wikipedia, as others might be interested in the same topic. I looked for similar articles on Wikipedia and found "Health informatics in China", which made me think that creating "Health informatics in Saudi Arabia" would be appropriate as well.
- Now I wanted to ask about the next steps: what is the correct process to make this article public? Should I resubmit it as is, or are there specific changes you would recommend before doing so?
- Thank you again for your time and guidance. Seigani1 (talk) 17:09, 3 January 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
- @Seigani1: The biggest issue here is that there are way too many sections. It makes the article very hard to navigate. I should note that for drafts this large, it is likely that a more formal review will be done to assess the sources that you've cited. To give a quick review from the skim I've had: Some appear to be from the Saudi government directly (primary source, can be used but not as proof of notability or in most cases, big claims). My advice for the sources is simple: find reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject and use them first. On Wikipedia, we have a preference for reliable secondary sources, see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources and also this category Category:WikiProject lists of reliable sources for help on finding these. Good luck, and I applaud you for the effort you've gone through with this draft. S.G. (They/Them) (Talk) (Edits) 17:16, 3 January 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
