- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

[edit ]Information icon Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hawaiian Airlines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you do have a valid source that states the programme has changed, then that source goes in the article instead of being hidden away in the edit summary. [edit ]Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Los Angeles International Airport, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Danners430 tweaks made 11:31, 11 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
Jean-Baptiste Nguyễn Quang Tuyến moved to draftspace
[edit ]Thanks for your contributions to Jean-Baptiste Nguyễn Quang Tuyến. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. InfernoHues (talk) 00:20, 12 April 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
- Hi! Yeah I know I was trying to translate the Vietnamese wiki version, I will have sources added soon. Ryanaviator (talk) 01:03, 12 April 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
- No worries! You can't have articles on living people with no sources public, which is why I moved it to draftspace. Once you're done, you can move it back or submit it for review using the template on the draft. Also see WP:TRANSLATE for more info, especially the attribution section.
