Question
I have added an archiving bot to my talk page, but I am unsure if I did everything correctly. My intent is for it to archive any discussion that hasn't been responded to in 10 days, while keeping three threads on the original talk page. I also want a new archive page made once the old archive page reaches 25 threads. I already made the first archive manually. Will the bot so all this based on the code I have on my page? Puzzledvegetable (talk) 18:00, 24 January 2019 (UTC) + edit
- I moved the template to the very top of the page. Everything looks to be properly set up and should work. Operator873 talk connect 20:53, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

RFC
Hi, instead of opening up RFC's, which may not be a great idea, your first thing to do should be to contact the Wikiproject Judaism, or Biography and ask there for help. An RFC is usually meant for dispute resolution and is not meant for just having someone take a look at an article, and the RFC itself needs to be worded in a certain way. I suggest you close the RFC and ask at WT:JUDAISM or WT:BIOGRAPHY for people to look at whatever you need them to look at. Thanks. Sir Joseph (talk) 15:54, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Sir Joseph: How do I close an RFC? -- Puzzledvegetable (talk) 16:03, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- I think what I just did effectively "closes" it, but I'm not sure. WT:BIOGRAPHY has a banner that says, "This page is not for comments on or corrections to a specific article, which normally belong on the article's talk page." The article's talk page will not get a lot of traffic, and the article isn't part of WikiProject Judaism. Should I add it, and ask them there, or is there a better approach? -- Puzzledvegetable (talk) 16:07, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- I'll add the article to WP Judaism, you can just add any article to any project, as long as it belongs. I'll close the RFC as moot. Sir Joseph (talk) 16:13, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- In the future, I don't think you can just delete a RFC since the tags were created, I'm not sure, but I think you need to edit the RFC tags. Sir Joseph (talk) 16:17, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

- Hi. Encouraging you go make time today to build this into a stronger, better sourced, more detailed article. Cheers.E.M.Gregory (talk) 11:47, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
- Just fyi, the best response to getting slapped with an an AfD is to double check your opinion that the topic is notable, then, if you still think that it is, to improve the article as per [[WP:HEYMANN].E.M.Gregory (talk) 13:00, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- @E.M.Gregory: Thanks for all of your help with this. The thing is, I’m relatively new to Wikipedia and not all that familiar with its policies and guidelines. It’s true I created the article, but if consensus is to delete it, I’m fine with that. This has been a wonderful learning experience regardless, and I got the opportunity to read up on a lot of helpful policies thanks to the deletion discussion. — Puzzledvegetable (talk) 18:28, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
