Hey, since you created that article, I suggest adding it to the list of accidents and incidents involving commercial aircraft since this incident now has an article. Writing because I'm not sure how you feel about it Nagito Komaeda the Second (talk) 17:13, 7 July 2025 (UTC) Reply

Thanks for your contributions to Aeroflot Flight 8175. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 09:38, 31 August 2025 (UTC) Reply

Whilst this could in theory be a notable crash, in its current form, this draft cannot be moved into mainspace. The following is a non-exhaustive list of problems regarding this draft:

– The §Lawsuit section is nearly entirely unsourced; – tailstrike.com is used numerous times in this article, which appears to be an unreliable, since for one, it doesn't really cite any sources; – I don't see anything that lends credence to sources #7, #8 (a forum...), and #9; – None of the information given at §Crew is verified in the cited source; – This source that is used does not verify any of the information that it is cited to;

– russianplanes.net is not a reliable source; etc...

I just spot-checked Aeroflot Flight 145 after it was deprodded again and found more WP:V issues in a minute.
I appreciate your interest in tying to save these pages, but I'm going to have to ask that you stop deprodding for now. I keep finding verification issues in the remaining text, this is not acceptable as per WP:LLMPRVOBJ it's required that first all content and its sources be closely reviewed, and reworked as needed, to ensure that they comply with polices and guidelines. This has failed to happen many times across many pages now, please stop. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 13:25, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
Ok Ohok12 (talk) 13:25, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
The LLMPROD tags should probably be followed, since LLMPRVOBJ has not been followed and these articles are still LLM-generated text. Ohok12 may not have realised that they were taking responsibility for these pages and the LLM-generated text, the de-LLMPRODDING rationale sounds more like they were thinking of either G15 or regular PROD tags. gurkubondinn 15:34, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
Ah, nevermind. I see that it's been restored in Special:Diff/1362516638 for Malév Flight 203. Are you taking responsibility for the rest of them? Seems like at least some of them still have source integrity issues.
If you want these incidents to have articles, you are far better off by writing new articles from scratch after these have been deleted. gurkubondinn 15:39, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
I would actually want them to be stayed. It just that most of Aeroflot crashes were being undersourced (only containing databases) due to the Soviet censorship. Ohok12 (talk) 16:32, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
Yeah, I'm aware. There's some interesting Aeroflot (and Soviet in general) incidents and accidents. This is definitely a notable interesting topic, I just don't think we should have LLM-generated articles on them because LLM-generated text is about as credible as a mouldy carrot. gurkubondinn 20:38, 4 July 2026 (UTC) Reply

This draft's references do not show that the event meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for events. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage : discuss the event in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • show lasting significance : analysis published after the initial breaking news has passed, showing historical impact;
  • are reliable : from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent : not connected to the event, such as press releases, the event or organizers own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all four of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Sourcing does not demonstrate notability per the WP:NEVENT guideline. Sourcing must show lasting coverage of the event, with in-depth coverage of the event in reliable, secondary sources. This draft appears to contain text generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You cannot use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations : they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone : they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues : they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.
Poor LLM translation. Please fix grammatical errors and issues before submitting. The extensive grammatical issues lead me to believe that the article was not appropriately reviewed after LLM translation, as is required by WP:LLMT. Additionally, the notability is not established, as there is not a significant amount of continuing coverage after the crash.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, Sulfurboy, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
The final report section, which is the claim that could best support notability here is unsourced.

Draft declined

Feedback
The reviewer, Sulfurboy, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage : discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable : from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent : not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Thank you sourcing that final section. I took a look at it, unfortunately it does not look like even with that this will meet the standard of WP:AIRCRASH for a standalone article. My recommendation would be to report on the crash on the Skyway Enterprises page. Cheers.
