Hello, there. While this isn't very intuitive, and I probably would've come to the same assumption as you before learning about the record charts while contributing to this website, I just wanted to let you know that the UK Singles Chart, the "main" chart, if you will, did not and never has factored in the airplay data Media Control UK monitored for the charts published in Music Week, and until 2014, even the data of the streaming chart that was first around that year. Therefore, the "main" chart was not really a main chart as it only factored in sales, putting it as representative to the UK as the Digital Sales and Hot Singles Sales component charts of the US Hot 100 were for the United States. Most "main" European singles chart work this way, with the possible exception of the Ultratop charts. Please be aware of this when focusing on chart tables. Thank you. Even the page you cited lists the "OCC Top 100" chart as a "sales" chart, and lists the "Radio Monitor Top 100" as an airplay chart, which is the current airplay chart. - The official airplay chart used is Radio Monitor Top 100, also known as The UK Radio Airplay Chart. The Music Week airplay chart is not the one used. - I would recommend doing more homework on the Music Week charts and reading more music pages. I have seen several Wikipedia pages, mostly those of late 1980s, 1990s and 2000s music, use the Music Week airplay charts monitored from the Media Control UK institution and Nielsen Soundscan (which are also behind official US and Canadian charts and the UK airplay chart as of "Locked Out of Heaven"'s peak position week) alongside the "UK Singles" position with no contention or complaint. As Radiomonitor was not established until 2002, Music Week was the provider of the primary UK airplay chart before then. Because I don't want to start edit wars or burden anybody else, I'm leaving the Bruno Mars pages alone, but I'll say one more thing: GA has a lower quality standard than FA, and an article having the green plus does not mean the article is perfect or completely in line with MOS and policy (especially with cite formatting), hence my edits on the article about the Las Vegas Silk Sonic performance. - Nielsen Soundscan is no longer behind the US charts, Luminate is the new company. Again, doesn't make much sense adding radio for a song that has a number two peak on the official charts, again UK OCC (sales) is the one mostly used. Moreover, US is one of the few places that count Airplay towards their main chart. Feel free to do edits and even summarize content, I apractice, but not nuke a whole section. I wish you well as too. - "doesn't make much sense adding radio for a song that has a number two peak on the official charts, again UK OCC (sales)" This should be self-explanatory: because the OCC chart only shows it did that well in that one medium, and not clarifying that misleads the general audience (who expect any "main" chart to combine all available mediums the way the US Hot 100 they're most familiar with do) that the song did equally well in streaming and sales (which is not the case for several songs).
