I have corrected the article, making it fit the rules better. and inserted citations and reference, correctly, I hope.

This is my first experience with wikipedia and I am trying to get my bearings.

I know him because he is the most famous navigator in Italy and I happened to cross paths with him. there is already a wikipedia page dedicated to him Italian and I think it would be useful if there was also an English page. LUDOSDM (talk) 12:18, 21 May 2025 (UTC) Reply

Is taking his picture the only thing you did with him with regards to your Wikipedia editing?

The Italian Wikipedia has different policies than the English Wikipedia, what they deem to be acceptable may not necessarily be acceptable here. It could be, but it's not a guarantee. 331dot (talk) 12:25, 21 May 2025 (UTC) Reply

yes. by the way I wanted to add this photo to those available on the Italian wikipedia page (which I did not do). I am new to this community and proceeding by trial and error, I came to the idea of making an English page, since Soldini is known internationally. It seems to me to be a good service: that is why I gathered neutral references and made all my sources available.
