The links that were put were links to external resources to buy medication. I feel that the wiki should not have that information and that their removal was necessary. There are dozens of wiki pages dedicated to DIY-sourcing of various medications, yet none of them have links directly to the storefronts MiraHaze212 (talk) 15:23, 22 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- To make a good analogy: The wikipedia page for Advil would not include a direct link to the Amazon page to buy Advil. That is very clearly not how this wiki operates. Doing so would impact the liability of Wikipedia as the wiki then comes across as unbiased and endorsing of companies and brands. MiraHaze212 (talk) 15:32, 22 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- OK, I see what you mean. But you can’t just entirely delete the references for the article. Those "links" enclosed in <ref> tags are what justify the content of the article. On the other hand, if you can find different reliable sources to add the article’s references, then please do so! Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 16:02, 22 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- The wiki already has references to studies and reports about DIY HRT. I was removing the links for resources about buying said medication. MiraHaze212 (talk) 16:04, 22 July 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Thank you for the update! I didn’t notice the reliable sources before. So then, feel free to delete those promotional references per WP:ELNO. Thank you also for discussing this with me in a reasonable way. Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 17:41, 22 July 2026 (UTC) Reply

- Hi @HelloImYourNeighbor,
- Thanks for the compliment! I used HTML and CSS code to add colours and formatting. For example, the header and first paragraph look like this:
<spanstyle="float:left;font-size:3.2em;line-height:0.8;padding:0.05em 0.1em 0 0;font-family:Georgia,serif;color:#6b4c2a;">N</span>ice to meet you! I love cinematography, photography, music and the great outdoors! I'm glad to help edit and develop Wikipedia, and I'm joining in from Beautiful British Columbia!
- If you'd like a custom userpage too, just let me know! I'm happy to give you a hand! Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 00:25, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply

- OK, what exactly do you mean?
- A spinning colorful pinwheel - animations are frowned upon, so not this
- Something else? Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 01:36, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply

Pinwheel - If you give me the go-ahead I'll add it to your user page! Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 02:17, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Alright you can go do it! HelloImYourNeighbor (talk) 02:19, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply
- There's something I'd like to flag before adding the pinwheel redesign. The Wiki Clicker Pro set up button could inject remotely controlled code into any user's account when they click on it. That could be dangerous, because an attacker could use it to compromise an account. Out of curiosity, where does it come from?
- Anyways, I strongly recommend leaving it out. It could make other users suspicious of you and even get your user page speedily deleted. While I'm adding the pinwheel, I can remove it for you. Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 02:35, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Oh, i used it since i wanted to make a clicker game for everyone, you can delete it, i tried to think of ways on how to use wikipedia code retrictions to my design and use a method to make it faster HelloImYourNeighbor (talk) 02:40, 9 August 2026 (UTC) Reply

Information icon Please do not introduce links to draft articles in actual articles, as you did to Tornado outbreak of March 5–7, 2026. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:35, 13 August 2026 (UTC) Reply
- Hi @Arjayay,
- Thanks for letting me know and sorry about that! An editor came to the Teahouse asking about broken ref tags in that draft, and I thought that it would fix the errors (Teahouse conversation link: Wikipedia:Teahouse#h-Getting the Excerpt template to correctly excerpt references-20260812220900) Giovanni Guasconti (a word with me) 14:18, 13 August 2026 (UTC) Reply
