We're a group of editors dedicated to improving medical articles on Wikipedia. I noticed that you are interested in editing medical articles; it's great to have a new editor on board. In your wiki-voyages, a few things that may be relevant to editing Wikipedia articles are:

• Sourcing: Sourcing of medical and health-related content on Wikipedia is guided by our medical sourcing guidelines, commonly referred to as MEDRS. These guidelines typically require recent secondary sources to support information. Primary sources (case studies, case reports, research studies) are rarely used.
• Accessibility: Keep in mind that readers often do not have a medical background, so make sure additions are understandable to a wide audience.
• Collaboration The Wikipedia community includes a wide variety of editors with different interests, skills, and knowledge. We all manage to get along through a lot of discussion that happens behind the scenes. If you encounter any problems or would like feedback, you can post a message on the WPMED talk page or discuss them on an article's talk page. Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Hello - while your expertise and enthusiasm for editing are certainly welcome for Project Medicine, it is a concern that you are likely collaborating offline with fellow students and your advisor, Serio31, to then edit Wikipedia articles, a process called meatpuppetry.

Serio31 and related students or clinical fellows have been warned against meatpuppet activity with these notices, including an administrator.

I recommend you avoid offline collaboration and edit articles unrelated to your group's research and clinical interests.
