Okay its been a while since the Wikipedia Minnesota User Group has meet. Since the last time we meet there has been social upheaval, plague, etc... - no small thing to be sure. There has been some sad lonely discussions on the Minnesota Meetup page on getting together but little action. So here it is. Come and be seen. Talk about the future of the Minnesota User Group and see what nefarious plans we can hatch.

Saturday July 19, 2025 the Minnesota User Group is having a Wiknic at the Minnesota State Capitol! We will be picnicing in the shade near the Minnesota Woman Suffrage Memorial, so bring a picnic blanket, lawn chairs and a hot dish for the picnic if you like! We'll also be providing sandwiches for everyone but we encourage you to bring your own favorite dishes to share. All Minnesota Wikipedia editors and wanna-be editors are welcome!

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over 3300ドル going into it, with 500ドル the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. I'm hoping to see some of our older stale US articles improved!
