Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. - I really don't understand why the word 'Blockchain' triggers such extreme emotional reactions. The blatant ignorance and outright refusal to understand what it actually is can be quite frustrating. We are simply talking about technologies that use mathematical algorithms to make patent distribution easier. People who have registered a patent and are looking for ways to monetize it often hit a brick wall. If this hurdle can be overcome using blockchain — sorry if that word offends anyone — it is merely describing a practical solution to real problems in the patenting industry. If I don't include a link, you block the edit for lacking a reliable source. This is a pointless, catch-22 conversation. The only constructive discussion we can have shouldn't be about someone's subjective opinion on whether a mandatory source link constitutes 'advertising' or not, but rather a discussion of the actual patenting problem and its solution described in the text.
