Citations for "Properties of Jeffrey Epstein" article
[edit ]Hi,
I was looking at a recent change made to this article, in the section about the Manhattan townhome. An editor recently changed the amount Epstein paid Wexner for the home from 20ドル million to 10ドル (ten dollars). This isn't correct but I looked at the citations you'd given just to make sure, and found out that the cited articles also don't say. When I looked at the early history of this article, it seemed you were sorting through many citations over a period of time.
Could you take a fresh look at the citations in the sections you wrote? It seems you meant for the citations you gave to go somewhere else... but I don't know where. This might be true for several section, I only looked at this one claim.
In the case of that townhome, the WSJ reported that Wexner sold it to Epstein for 20ドル million in 1998 in this article and this one which sources that information from "a person familiar with the situation", and a local NBC affiliate later came up with copies of the cashier checks and details about how Epstein paid in installments.
